NTS GAT Categories

Subcategories of GAT-General:

GAT-A: For candidates in Arts and Humanities.

GAT-B: For science and engineering candidates.

GAT-D: For candidates for religious studies (Madrassa background).

2. GAT Subject

This test assesses candidates’ knowledge in specific subjects, mainly for the doctorate. admissions. It is available for disciplines such as natural sciences, social sciences, engineering and management sciences. Applicants must choose their relevant subject when registering.

3. GAT Law

GAT-Law is designed for those seeking admission into LL.M. programs or legal positions that require a GAT-Law score. The test assesses knowledge of legal principles, including constitutional, criminal and civil law.
