On LawNext: From client experience to client intelligence: Case Status CEO Andy Seavers on becoming a ‘future firm’

Recently, the legal technology company File status held its inaugural ceremony Customer Experience Summit in Charleston, South Carolina, a conference dedicated to exploring how AI, data and ethical practices can enable law firms to provide a better experience for their clients. In an opening speech at the conference, Andy Seaversco-founder and CEO of Case Status, unveiled several new products, including Client Intelligence, an AI-powered platform that the company says represents a significant shift for law firms, moving from reactive client management to predictive client engagement.
Shortly after Seavers gave this speech, LawNext host Bob Ambrogi, who attended the conference, sat down with him for this interview to learn more about the company and its latest announcements. When it launched, Case Status was often described as the Dominos pizza tracking system for law, as it allowed clients to easily track the status of their case. As you’ll hear from Seavers in today’s interview, it has grown significantly since then, becoming a comprehensive customer experience and customer intelligence platform.
Also in today’s interview, Seavers talks about his just-released book, Future Firm, Fossil Firm, in which he lays out a blueprint for how law firms can evolve. He discusses his vision for a “business of the future” and why he believes leadership posture, operational systems and customer experience are now the defining factors of business success.
